Loss Prevention Specialist - Restaurant or Retail Industry
Job Summary: We are seeking a Remote Loss Prevention Expert to join a leading chain of restaurants in the US. This role is pivotal in safeguarding operational integrity, driving compliance, and improving processes to mitigate risks. About the Role:
As the Loss Prevention Expert, you will focus on ensuring the safety and integrity of restaurant operations by conducting audits, investigating incidents, and recommending proactive measures. This role requires exceptional communication skills, proven problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to lead and collaborate with teams.
You’ll receive training in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a structured framework designed to streamline business efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed audits of Point of Sale (POS) systems to detect discrepancies or fraudulent activity.
- Investigate and prepare focused incident reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Perform site deep dives remotely to assess compliance with company standards and operational protocols.
- Develop and implement process improvements based on industry best practices and audit findings.
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to enhance loss prevention strategies.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including incident resolution times, audit accuracy, and compliance rates.
- Ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures across all sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in loss prevention (ideally 10), preferably in the restaurant or retail industries.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and leadership.
- Strong analytical abilities for interpreting POS data and operational insights.
- Experience in developing and executing process improvement strategies.
- Familiarity with audit techniques and loss prevention tools.
- Proven ability to lead remote teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
