Senior Property Accountant

Concertina is seeking a seasoned Senior Property Accountant in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, deep knowledge of property management operations, and experience in handling the full accounting cycle for asset portfolios. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and lender reporting, while also contributing to a high-performing finance team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of property accounting for a portfolio, including AP/AR, tenant invoicing, bank reconciliations, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain internal controls to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Track fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Conduct annual CAM reconciliations for tenants.
  • Support capital calls, distributions, and SMA financial reporting.
  • Prepare and submit lender reports and draws in accordance with loan documents.
  • Handle ad hoc financial, accounting, or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA, CMA, or CPA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Yardi Property Management System is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
