Senior IT Project Manager

Concertina is seeking an accomplished Senior IT Project Manager to spearhead large-scale IT initiatives across complex organizational environments. This role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating diverse technical teams, and delivering high-impact solutions that align with strategic business goals.
You will be working with one of our esteemed clients in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors, where innovation, precision, and high standards of safety and delivery are paramount. A background in these industries will be highly regarded.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Oversee the development of project scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource planning in alignment with client expectations.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders including developers, analysts, and executive sponsors.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and adapt plans.
  • Manage communication flow, status updates, and documentation across internal and external teams.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, especially within safety-critical and regulated environments.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to maintain momentum and quality outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and project post-mortems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT project management, with proven success in delivering complex and cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong command of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence).
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or technology is highly regarded.
