Senior IT Project Manager

Concertina is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager for our client in the U.S. automotive dealership industry. This remote role blends managed services (MSP) operations with enterprise IT project delivery across multi-site dealership networks. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading complex technology rollouts, strong MSP-style operations skills, and proven ability to drive standardization and performance in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-dealership IT projects (network upgrades, DMS/POS integrations, cloud migrations, endpoint refreshes).
  • Oversee MSP-style operations projects: SLA/OLA design, incident management, service catalog, and change governance.
  • Collaborate with dealership stakeholders and OEM/DMS partners to coordinate seamless implementations and training.
  • Drive cadence rituals (weekly L10s, vendor QBRs, risk reviews), and report KPIs and financial metrics to leadership.
  • Manage and guide cross-functional delivery teams (project coordinators, engineers, vendors), resolving blockers.
  • Standardize workflows, CMDB practices, and change windows across dealerships for scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, privacy standards, and OEM program requirements.
  • Handle audits and remediation plans efficiently and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience in MSP or enterprise IT (10+ years preferred for senior/complex portfolios).
  • Background in automotive dealership IT highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, executive-ready communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • U.S. hours availability (with additional compensation uplift).
  • Experience with DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds), POS, fixed ops workflows, and OEM compliance.
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud (Azure/AWS), endpoint management, and security operations.
  • Skilled with project tools (Jira, Azure DevOps), ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, ConnectWise), and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Familiar with project controls, forecasting, stakeholder engagement, and risk/benefit trade-offs.
