Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor public sector bid portals and procurement boards.
- Identify and track construction and infrastructure opportunities in target states.
- Qualify projects based on scope, budget, strategic fit, and timeline.
- Deliver clear, concise project summaries to internal teams.
- Maintain a live database of public project leads.
- Collaborate with estimators and business development teams for go/no-go decisions.
- Stay informed on regional public development trends and funding flows.
- Continuously refine research tools and sourcing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in public project research, procurement, or a related field.
- Skilled in navigating public databases and procurement platforms.
- Strong understanding of RFPs, RFQs, and government bidding cycles.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
- Background in construction, engineering, or public infrastructure.
- Familiarity with tools like GovWin, BidClerk, or Dodge Data.
- Knowledge of public-private partnerships (P3s) and grant funding mechanisms.
- Updated resume/CV.
