Network Engineer
Concertina is seeking a skilled Network Engineer for our client in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation and maintenance with a strong preference for those with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. This role will require hands-on involvement with LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies, as well as collaboration across system administration and network security tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks (Cisco and Ubiquiti), including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 escalated networking and system administration tickets.
- Configure and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Lead and collaborate on Tier 2 and networking-related projects.
- Monitor network traffic, enforce security policies, and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct network audits and create technical documentation.
- Work closely with developers, sysadmins, and security teams to ensure robust infrastructure integration.
- Perform basic system administration tasks like server configuration, user management, and backup/recovery.
- CCNP certification or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- 5+ years working experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with network security best practices and monitoring tools.
- Background in server and systems administration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (C1–C2 level).
- Experience in auto dealership environments is a plus but not required.
