Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer for our client. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing industrial laundry and wastewater treatment equipment. You’ll ensure machinery meets high standards for quality, safety, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions from concept to production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Product Design: Lead and contribute to the design of industrial equipment from initial concept through final production.
• Engineering Analysis: Conduct stress analysis, structural calculations, and simulations to validate mechanical integrity and safety
• Product Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs align with relevant industry standards and make necessary adjustments
• Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation including engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals
• Collaboration: Partner with electrical engineers, panel builders, assemblers, and project managers for integrated system design
• Cost Optimization: Discover and execute design and sourcing improvements to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the industrial manufacturing sector.
• Skilled in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to create part numbers and Bills of Material.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in cost reduction and process efficiency initiatives.
