Internal Operations Specialist
Concertina is seeking for an Internal Operations Specialist in the Residential & Commercial Field Services industry.
We are looking for someone highly organized and detail-oriented who can support field operations behind the scenes. In simple terms — you will make sure our crews have the materials, vehicles, tools, systems access, and support they need to do their jobs efficiently.
This role supports services such as pest control, janitorial, pool care, landscaping, and exterior cleaning. If you enjoy managing processes, tracking assets, working with vendors, and keeping operations organized and audit-ready, this role is for you.
What You’ll Really Be Doing:
Purchasing & Materials

Process purchase orders with correct coding and vendor details.

Order and track field supplies (chemicals, cleaning materials, landscaping supplies, PPE, etc.).

Monitor daily spend and help control costs.

Maintain updated vendor lists and pricing.
IT & Asset Support
-
Coordinate system access for field employees (logins, software, MFA).
-
Track and issue laptops, tablets, phones, fuel cards, and company cards.
-
Manage onboarding and offboarding asset recovery.
-
Help resolve device or access issues by coordinating with IT.
Fleet Management
-
Help manage company vehicles and equipment using Fleetio and telematics systems.
-
Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance.
-
Monitor registrations, inspections, insurance, and renewals.

Reconcile fleet-related invoices and investigate billing discrepancies.
Finance & Reporting Support

Track CapEx purchases like vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

Monitor lease expirations and send renewal alerts.
-
Maintain dashboards for fleet utilization, spend per job, and operational KPIs.
Compliance & Process Improvement

Maintain SOPs for purchasing, fleet use, fuel cards, and chemical handling.

Keep documentation audit-ready.

Identify ways to reduce waste, downtime, and unnecessary spending.
What We’re Really Looking For:

5+ years of experience supporting field operations, procurement, or fleet management.

Experience in industries like pest control, janitorial, landscaping, pool care, or similar field services.

Hands-on experience with Fleetio or similar fleet management tools.

Strong spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, lookups, data tracking).

Experience managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.
-
Detail-oriented, organized, and strong follow-through.

Comfortable working with data and dashboards.
Nice to Have:

Experience with Ford Telematics, Emburse, ERP systems (NetSuite or QuickBooks).

Exposure to insurance tracking or lease management.

Basic knowledge of OSHA/EPA guidelines for field operations.
