Engineering Project Coordinator

Concertina is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Engineering Project Coordinator for our client in the manufacturing industry. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within 2–3 years, providing hands-on experience with engineering processes, ERP systems, and cross-functional workflows. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and project support to the Engineering team, with a strong focus on sales support, order management, and project tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Support & CRM (Salesforce):

  • Enter and update sales opportunities in Salesforce as provided by the Sales team.
  • Create and assign tasks for Sales Engineers within the CRM system.
  • Generate and distribute reports for Engineering review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales opportunity records.

Project Tracking (Mission Control):

  • Manage and update project timelines and milestones using Mission Control.
  • Track sales orders from entry through production and shipment.
  • Provide regular status updates to Engineering and Production teams.
  • Generate progress reports for planning and decision-making.

Sales Order & BOM Entry (ERP Systems):

  • Enter sales orders into Guardian MRP and other ERP platforms.
  • Record warranty line items and maintain updated records.
  • Input Bills of Materials (BOMs) from the Engineering team.
  • Run order history and project status reports as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate tasks to ensure on-time production and adherence to schedules.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Align sales order timelines with production capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with CRM, project management, or ERP software (Salesforce, Mission Control, MRP/ERP systems) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong data entry and software navigation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated team player adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus and can support career advancement.
