Data Analyst - Power BI
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This
role is pivotal in leveraging data to support strategic decision-making by creating insightful
reports and analyses using Power BI, Excel, and other tools. The ideal candidate will be
proficient in Power BI and Excel, with expertise in DAX programming, data automation, and data
integration from multiple systems. You will be working closely with senior leadership to provide
analytical support and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Reporting: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports and analysis using Power BI to provide actionable insights to the team
- Support Larger Models: Assist in the development and maintenance of larger planning models for annual and quarterly planning processes.
- Template Building: Help the team by designing and building ad hoc data templates for various reporting needs.
- Executive Support: Provide data analysis and insights to support the CEO, CFO, and
- Operations VP in making informed business decisions.
- Data Integration: Understand APIs and effectively link data from different systems for comprehensive analysis and reporting.
- Automation: Implement and improve processes for automating reports to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting tasks.
- Excel Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel techniques, including PowerPivot and Pivot Tables, to conduct detailed data analysis.
- Presentation Support: Assist the team with PowerPoint presentations, optimizing them for visual appeal and clarity to effectively communicate data insights.
- DAX Programming: Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), the core programming language behind Power BI.
- PowerPivot: Experience with data analysis within Excel, including building KPI tables, with familiarity of PowerPivot as a precursor to Power BI and DAX.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables, data modeling, and data analysis techniques.
- API Integration: Solid understanding of APIs and experience linking data from multiple systems.
- Automation Skills: Knowledge of automating reporting and analysis processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- PowerPoint Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint to enhance presentations and optimize visual representation of data.
- Fast and Accurate Worker: Ability to work quickly without compromising the quality of analysis and reporting.
- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Experience with VBA is a plus for automating Excel processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in Power BI, Excel, and data reporting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
