Chief Financial Officer – Consumer Packaged Goods CPG

Our client, a U.S.-based business group with a vibrant portfolio across restaurant, retail, and liquor brands, is looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy. This role calls for a seasoned leader who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and can confidently manage investor relations, financial planning, and compliance across a multi-entity structure. The CFO will work closely with the founders, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth path.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, strategy, and forecasting across diverse CPG operations.
• Manage investor relations with regular, transparent reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, capital allocation, risk management, and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. financial, tax, and regulatory standards.
• Advise founders on business performance, investments, and strategic decisions.
• Build scalable financial systems and improve operational efficiencies.
• Evaluate growth and M&A opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and external financial partners.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of senior finance leadership, ideally in CPG with exposure to restaurants, retail, or liquor sectors.
• Prior experience as CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent in complex, multi-entity environments.
• Strong grasp of investor relations, reporting, and compliance.
• Self-starter with a high level of independence and alignment with executive leadership.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background in high-growth, private equity, or M&A environments is a plus.
