Concertina is looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager & Team Lead to join our US-based client in the legal industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in outbound sales, client acquisition, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the legal sector or a related industry. Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a results-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of business development representatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to acquire new clients in the legal industry.
  • Conduct prospecting, cold calling, and follow-ups to generate qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to refine sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Track performance metrics, provide coaching, and drive team success.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience, preferably in the legal industry.
  • Proven track record in outbound sales, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong understanding of legal services, client acquisition, and business growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends.
