We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to drive content creation, engagement, and brand visibility, with a particular focus on TikTok and emerging trends across all social media platforms. This role is perfect for someone who understands how to captivate digital audiences, particularly in the food and grocery sector.

Position Overview
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing engaging social media campaigns and content that connect with target audiences and drive high visibility, particularly on TikTok. The ideal candidate is passionate about food trends, storytelling, and building digital communities. A deep understanding of how to create scroll-stopping content and adapt strategies for various social channels is key to success in this role.

​​​Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation:
  • Develop and execute engaging, brand-aligned content strategies for TikTok and all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

  • Ideate and create dynamic video and visual content that resonates with TikTok’s audience, increasing views, shares, and engagement.

  • Capitalize on food and grocery trends to create authentic and viral moments for the brand.

Platform Management & Growth:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of TikTok and other social media accounts, ensuring consistent posting and audience engagement.Monitor social media analytics to track performance and adjust content strategies for optimal results.

  • Grow follower count and drive engagement through creative storytelling and platform-specific strategies.

Audience Engagement:

  • Engage with audiences in a warm, authentic, and timely manner to foster a community around the brand.

  • Monitor trends, hashtags, and viral content to participate in relevant social conversations.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media strategies with brand goals and product launches.

  • Partner with influencers and creators to amplify brand presence and reach new audiences.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Provide regular reporting on social media performance, including key metrics like views, shares, CTR, and ROI.

  • Use insights to continuously improve content quality and audience engagement strategies.

​Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of social media content creation and management, with proven success on TikTok and other major social platforms. Experience in the food, grocery, or consumer goods industry is strongly preferred.
Creative Storytelling: Exceptional ability to translate brand messaging into entertaining and engaging content.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, etc.) and social media analytics tools.
Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and audience nuances, as well as familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels.
Trend Spotter: A keen eye for identifying social media trends and capitalizing on real-time opportunities.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally, take feedback constructively, and align creative ideas with brand objectives.
Passion for Food: A love for food, cooking, and grocery trends is a big plus!
